The MRA is made up of a group of businesses, residents and landowners
who collaborate
on economic and community projects.

We utilise a partnership approach involving input from multiple business, residential and community stakeholders to raise awareness of Maroochydore’s Traditional Town Centre, attracting visitation
and income for businesses within the precinct.

In 3 short years the MRA's impact has been huge.

The significant turnaround in the last 3 years has been the work of motivated and self-starting community leaders that adopted a unique approach to stimulating and testing local demand via
self funded events, artwork, strategy development and private and public sector engagement.

Our team of volunteers work very hard to bring you these initiatives.

Nights On Ocean

The second Friday of every month Ocean St Maroochydore comes alive with the best artisan market on the Sunshine coast.

Captain and The Duke

Captain and the Duke is the coast's very own pop up bar... popping up at MRA festivals and markets and serving you the best music, drinks and vibe'n good times.

 Ocean Street World Festival

The annual Ocean Street World Festival attracts well over 30,000 people and stimulating economic activity of over $1 million directly into the local economy (2015 data).

We are sure you agree that the MRA are breathing life into what was once a very tired part of the Sunshine Coast.

It is not easy work and we are always looking for new members and volunteers to help out. Please dont hesitate to drop us a line or subscribe our newsletter or follow us on Facebook
